Dry fruit barfi is a great source to overcome many health problems. This dry fruit barfi is made with some seeds and dry fruits. Dry fruits and seeds are a great and energy-rich food that improves our overall health. They are great for hair, skin, digestion and the ability to fight many diseases. To live a healthy life, we should include some dry fruits and seeds in our daily routine. Today we will prepare a delicious and healthy dry fruit barfi using some dry fruits and seeds, and we will use dates to sweeten the barfi.
- 50 – Dates
- ¼ cup – Almonds
- ¼ cup – Cashew
- 2 tbsp – Pumpkin Seeds
- 2 tbsp – Poppy Seeds
- 1 tbsp – Char Magaz
- 2 tbsp – Melon Seeds
- 1 tbsp – Sesame Seeds
- ½ cup – Desiccated Coconut
- 3-4 tbsp – Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter)

Dates
Dates are a very powerful dry fruit that has been used in many countries for many years. It is claimed that it cleanses our blood. They are rich in fiber, Magnesium, vitamins, protein, and iron-rich, which make them great natural energy booster. It has been used for its health benefits like: improve digestion, brain health and gut health.
Almonds
Cashews
Pumpkin seeds
Poppy seeds
Sesame seeds
Char Magaz
Desiccated coconut
Desi Ghee (Clarified Butter)
Method to make this dry fruit barfi:
- Dry roast all seeds like pumpkin seeds, poppy seeds, melon seeds, sesame seeds, char magaz for 2 minutes and keep aside on separate plate.
- Add half tsp desi ghee into the pan add almonds and cashew and roast and continue to stir for 2 min.
- After cooling completely add all the seeds and nuts into the chopper and chop into small pieces.
- Take 40-50 dates and chop like shown in the picture.

- Add 1 tbsp ghee and put chopped dates into pan and roast for 3-4 minutes on low flame and continue to stir.

- After 3-4 minutes add all the chopped seeds and nuts along with the desiccated coconut into the pan and stir for 1-2 minutes.

- Turn off the flame and shift all the material onto a greased plate or on a butter paper.
- Wait for 1 minute, and divide this mixture into 3-4 parts.
- Grease your hand with ghee, and gently roll the mixture as shown in the picture. (Do not cool completely the mixture otherwise, you have a problem rolling it, so roll it when it is warm.)

- After rolling cover it with foil paper or butter paper and store it in the fridge for 1 hour.

- After 1 hour cut the roll into small slices and your tasty dry fruit barfi is ready to serve.
- This barfi can be stored in the refrigerator for up to two months.
